How do I set up the Sodastream ULTIMATE Multi-drink™?

1. Remove and properly discard any packaging and tape from the Sparkling Drink Maker.
2. Place the Sparkling Drink Maker on a flat stable surface.
3. Assemble the Drip Tray into place.
   

4. Rinse the Flavour Connect Cap and Water Tank.
   
   Note: The ULTIMATE Multi-drink™ Water Tank should be filled ONLY with still WATER! Use ice cold water for best results 

   Note: If your ULTIMATE Multi-drink™ Water Tank contains a loose plastic cap at the bottom, you can remove and discard the cap. 
   

5. Connect the power adapter:
   
   1. Connect the pronged plug that fits your local outlet to be a power adapter.
   2. Check the power cord placement at the back of the Sparkling Drink Maker and insert the plug.
   3. Insert the adapter into a power outlet. The Status Lights will turn White, then turn off. The Drink Size Lights will turn solid Orange. 

Please note that the Sodastream ULTIMATE Multi-drink™ Sparkling Drink Maker is only compatible with the Sodastream® CO2 Quick Connect Cylinder and is NOT compatible with the Sodastream® CO2 Screw System Cylinder or other cylinders.

1. Remove seal and cap from the Sodastream® CO2 Quick Connect Cylinder.
2. Open the CO2 Cylinder Door on the left side of the Sparkling Drink Maker.
3. Raise the Quick Connect Cylinder handle to the ”open” position.
4. Insert the CO2 Quick Connect Cylinder, bottom first.
5. Lower the Quick Connect cylinder handle to the ”locked” position.
6. Close the CO2 Cylinder Door.
7. Press and hold the Carbonation Level Button for 3 seconds to reset the CO₂ cylinder status. The button light will change from orange to white, confirming the new cylinder is recognized. 
   

Note: When the CO2 level indicator turns Orange, the CO2 Cylinder is about to run out. This is the time to have a full refillable CO2 Cylinder on hand.

• One CO2 cylinder in sodastream ULTIMATE Multi-drink™ makes up to 120 servings of 236 ml.

1. Remove the empty Water Tank from the unit.
2. Fill the Water Tank with ice, and / or cold water (can only be filled with water!)
3. Place the Water Tank back on its dock
4. When successful, the Drink Size Button will change from Orange to White and become enabled
   

It is recommended to store the Water tank in the fridge (temperature of ~35°F / ~2°C) when not in use.

• WARNING: DO NOT fill with any liquid aside from water. Other liquids can contaminate and clog internal parts resulting in excessive pressure, machine failure and possible personal injury

To properly connect the flavour bottle, check out this 'How-To' video and the following steps:

1. Select your desired Flavour Bottle*.
2. Remove the Flavour Bottle Cap (set aside for future use or recycle) and seal.

3. Assemble the Flavour Connect Cap according to the use manual. 

   Note! 1. The Cap of the Flavour Connect Cap should not be removed while in use (only remove for cleaning purposes). at any stage. 2. The Flavour Connect Cap is not a ‘stand-alone’ product that can be used as a pump outside the FOUNTAIN™ drink maker. 

4. Tightly screw on the Flavour Connect Cap to the Flavor Bottle. 

   Note: When replacing one Flavour Bottle with another, use a dry paper towel to cover the nozzle to avoid dripping.

5. Open the Flavour Bottle Door on the front face of the Sparkling Drink Maker.
6. Attach the Flavour Bottle by pushing the top of the Flavour Connect Cap up and into the Flavour Bottle Slot.
7. Once the Flavour Connect Cap is in the slot, turn the Dispense Nozzle left until it clicks and locks into place.
8. When successful, the Flavour Indicator will light up. 
   
9. For first-time use of your new Sparkling Drink Maker, run a rinse cycle before making your first drink.
   1. Place a small sized vessel below the Dispense Nozzle. Press the Carbonation Level Button repeatedly until the light indicator lands on Still (no carbonation).
   2. Set the Flavour Dial in setting #2.
   3. Start the rinse cycle by pressing the Activation Button once.
   4. Dispose of the liquid and continue to MAKE YOUR DRINK. Priming steps below are for future Flavour Bottle installation
      
10. For best results, whenever attaching a new Flavour Connect Cap to a Flavour Bottle, follow the priming steps to remove any air from the pipeline**;
    1. Place a glass under the Dispense Nozzle.
    2. Set the Flavour Dial on “Boost” (B).
    3. Press the Activation Button x 1 or 2 times until flavour is dispensed:
       Boost x 1 for Zero Sugar / Diet flavours. Boost x 2 for all other flavours.
    4. Rinse the glass and continue to drink making.
       

* Use only the new 440 ml transparent Flavor Bottle with a pour cap. You can also make unflavored sparkling water by setting the Flavor Dial to “0”. 

** Priming is only necessary during first use of the Flavor Bottle or if the contents of the Flavor Bottle are fully exhausted. Otherwise, subsequent uses of a primed Flavor Bottle, even when switched out, should not require repeated priming.

1. Place a Small sized glass under the nozzle
2. Choose Drink Size "S"
3. Choose Carbonation Level "Still" (-)
4. Set Flavour Dial to "2"
5. Press the Activation Button
6. Discard the liquid from the glass
7. Your sodastream ULTIMATE Multi-drink™ is ready for carbonation!

For best results, whenever attaching a new Flavor Connect Cap to a Flavor Bottle, follow the priming steps to remove any air from the pipeline**

1. Place a glass under the Dispense Nozzle. 
2. Set the Flavor Dial on “Boost” (B). 
3. Press the Activation Button x 1 or 2 times until flavor is dispensed:   
   Boost x 1 for Zero Sugar / Diet flavors. Boost x 2 for all other flavors.
4. Rinse the glass and continue to drink making.
